Pilot Relighting

We recommend a Level 1 gas fireplace inspection (see below) for any and all pilot issues on your gas/propane fireplace insert or gas log set. This includes the following disruptions:

* Pilot will not light

* Pilot will not stay lit.

* Pilot sparks but does not ignite.

A level 1 inspection will identify the root cause of the issue while also proactively identifying any future problems.

Main burner will not light

If your pilot is lit but fire does not spread to your main burner, this could indicate a blockage of a burner port or an issue with the electrical wiring. During a level 1 inspection, we will clear any blockages and test the burner circuitry so ensure all components are in good condition. If not, we can replace what's needed to get your fireplace working properly.

Soot on glass door and or/logs.

This is common in gas fireplaces with improperly positioned logs, clogged burner ports, or experiencing incomplete combustion. A routine annual level 1 inspection is recommended to remedy this. We will clean the logs & door while also preventing the problem from continuing. If necessary, replacement logs can be ordered.

Blocked Venting System

After the heating season it is not uncommon for birds, bees, or other animals/debris to find its way into gas fireplace liners and direct vent systems. A routine annual inspection will identify any blockages before they cause a blockage, at which point they can be removed by one of our certified technicians.
